Amanda Kik runs an artist-centered nonprofit organization in Northern Michigan. Crosshatch Center for Art & Ecology is currently building The Alluvion—a performance space in Traverse City, Michigan, which will act as a listening room for touring and local performers and an incubator for young artists. Crosshatch is also developing an artist residency program on 50 acres of farmland in Bellaire, Michigan, where Amanda now lives with her husband, two kids, and a menagerie of pets and farm animals.
