Kathie Foley-Meyer (Critical Studies MFA 99)

Kathie Foley-Meyer (Critical Studies MFA 99) was the Spring 2025 artist-in-residence at Slavery North, an academic initiative exploring the history of the slave trade in Canada and the northern United States. You can watch an excerpt from her Fellows talk on the Slavery North YouTube Channel.

She is also a contributing artist to the upcoming performance by Robert Takahashi Novak (Art MFA 97) of his new work inspired by the late Robert Therrien’s The Voices We Keep, an audio composition commissioned by the Broad Museum in downtown LA.

The performance will take place on Saturday, March 7 from 8-10 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the Broad website, and include access to the Robert Therrien exhibition.
