Barry Schrader (Music MFA 71), electronic music pioneer and Professor Emeritus at CalArts, recently released Ambient : Aether, his first album of new music in more than a decade. The four-movement work explores atmospheric themes through electronic composition and is available as a limited-edition CD and digital download on Bandcamp. Schrader is also known for landmark works such as Lost Atlantis and the score for Roger Corman’s Galaxy of Terror.
