After a 28-year career as an award-winning music editor and composer in Hollywood, David Scott (Lee Scott) (Music MFA 80) is now retired and based in Joshua Tree, California, where he built Giant Rock Studios. He continues to write, produce, and release music, and has spent the past four years performing solo electronic Indian music using drone tracks and live keyboard improvisation.

He is currently developing a multidisciplinary project about George Van Tassell, the UFO convention organizer and builder of the Integratron, a landmark structure in the Mojave Desert, envisioned as a play, podcast, film, and stage work.
