Gabi Galloway (Theater BFA 21) has been appointed as the next Executive Director of the Auburn Symphony in Washington. She currently serves as the organization’s Individual Giving Director and will transition into the expanded role as the Symphony prepares for a major milestone: the 2026–27 season, which will mark the orchestra’s 30th anniversary.
The Auburn Symphony was founded by musicians who performed with the Pacific Northwest Ballet, an ensemble once praised by The New York Times as “the best ballet band in America.” This origin continues to shape the orchestra’s artistic character and its long-standing ties to the region’s performing arts community.
In her new responsibilities, Galloway will oversee administrative operations, support artistic planning, and work closely with musicians, staff, and board members. As the anniversary season approaches, she will help coordinate programs and initiatives that highlight the Symphony’s history and its ongoing role in the South Sound and broader regional community today.
