Aaron Drake (Music MFA 07) has had a busy few months, marked by several exciting milestones. On May 22, a national remix competition concluded for his score to the Roku original Renee Montgomery: A Radical Act, in partnership with EarSketch and Georgia Tech. His documentary Coach, directed by the Nash Brothers and produced by Seth Rogen’s Hilarity for Charity, premiered at the DC/DOX festival on June 14. That was followed by the nationwide theatrical release of Bride Hard, directed by Simon West and starring Rebel Wilson, on June 22. On June 23—coinciding with the Summer Solstice—Drake celebrated the release of his new album Nox Lux on limited edition black-and-white vinyl at GAM in Torino, Italy, in collaboration with artist Marcos Lutyens.
