Bob Bassett (Music 77)

Bob Bassett’s compositions continue to come to life! The latest is a work for chorus, piano, cello, and violin that was performed by the Washington (DC) Master Chorale in October. The work, Chinook, is based on a poem about the warm winds that descend the Rocky Mountains in the middle of winter. Hear it at www.soundcloud.com/BobBassettMusic. Upcoming concerts include a commissioned work for a quintet of flute, violin, viola, and two cellos to be performed in February by the Front Range Chamber Players.
