Lisa Popeil shares, “In 2019, I had the amazing experience of touring with ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic singing on his 65-city tour through the US and Canada with costumes, dancing, and a full orchestra every night. Getting to sing centerstage for a quarter-million smiling faces was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. These past few years, I’ve concentrated on online voice teaching, livestreams, workshops, and presenting on voice research at conferences. With a smidge of singing thrown in: I’m singing again with Weird Al on his 113-city current tour at his stop at the Wiltern Theater in LA June 18, then will be presenting a one-woman show A Life in Song in San Antonio, Texas, for the Sweet Adelines Educational Convention in July. Still able to find time for relaxing in the La-Z-Boy at our ranch in Fillmore in Ventura County. Nice to be in touch with y’all!”
