Kenneth Graning writes, “I recently received notification that two of my recent landscape paintings were accepted for inclusion in two very prestigious art exhibitions. The title of the two paintings are California Dreaming and Marin County. Marin County will be exhibited in the Michigan Fine Arts competition, which is only open to Michigan artists, at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Association in Birmingham, Michigan. California Dreaming will be displayed in the American Watercolor Society (AWS) Associate members online exhibition. The AWS has its headquarters in the Salmagundi Club in Manhattan. Both paintings are painted with gouache on Arches watercolor paper. The acceptance notification for both of these shows arrived in my email box on the same day. That rarely happens! Made my day.”
