The CalArts Pool Fisheye Snapshot

Carl Palmer (Theater 89)

Carl Palmer writes, “I was busy this winter/spring Off-Broadway doing the Public Theatre and Audible’s remount of Coal Country at the Cherry Lane Theatre. The play’s written by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen with music by Steve Earle. It was a Lucille Lortel Off-Broadway award nominee for Best Play. I played the role of ‘Goose.’ It’s about the Upper Big Branch mining disaster in West Virginia that killed 29 miners. Here’s a link to the website: coalcountrymusical.com. I also was on the final episode of this season’s Fear the Walking Dead titled ‘Gone’ in several scenes with Kim Dickens and Lennie James, among others. Below is a picture from Coal Country.
