Alexis Krasilovsky’s new book, Watermelon Linguistics: New and Selected Poems (Cyberwit, 2022—available on Amazon) is a finalist in the 2022 International Book Awards. The book includes poems from the soundtracks of several of her documentary and art films (available on Kanopy.com and through Canyon Cinema), including Exile, the film she made for her MFA thesis at CalArts. Krasilovsky’s most recent film, The Parking Lot of Dreams (2021) is an official selection in several festivals, including New York, Los Angeles, India, Amsterdam, and Athens, Greece.
