Dana Berman Duff curated a program for LA Filmforum called Picture More: Interventions into Filmic Space, in October 2021, which presented the work of nine filmmakers from around the world. She moderated a Q&A with the filmmakers on October 24. Two recent films by Dana Berman Duff screened in several film festivals this year. A Potentiality screened at ULTRAcinema Film Festival, Tepoztlan, Morelos, Mexico; Bogotá Experimental Film Festival; Alternative Festival of New Film and Video, Belgrade, Serbia; Onion City Experimental Film + Video Festival, Chicago; Daimon International Film Exhibition, Mexico City; and West Sound Film Festival, Bremerton, Washington. The House Is Empty screened at Crossroads Film Festival, San Francisco Cinematheque; FLIGHT/Mostra Internazionale del Cinema di Genova; Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt; GLAZOK Moscow International Experimental Film Festival, Moscow; Experiments in Cinema, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin at the Louvre; Fisura International Festival of Experimental Film and Video, Mexico City. A six-channel video installation/sculpture constructed using flat-screen monitors on gooseneck stands, titled “Sabina Goes,” was included in an exhibition in Pasadena called “Presence Requested.” A full program of Dana Berman Duff’s short films is being scheduled for June 2022 at REDCAT.
