Steve Weir (Art BFA 73, MFA 78) writes, “I have been working on a book, ‘A View of CalArts,’ of photographs I took while a BFA student 1970-’73 and MFA student, 1976-’78. The images include students, friends, faculty, and colleagues as well as campus locations. I would wander around the campus, exploring hallways and rooms often at night when few people were around. I am dedicating this publication to John Bache for all of the support he gave to me and the many other people that benefited from his work at CalArts. I will be donating the profits from the sale of the book to the R. John Bach Memorial Scholarship fund. The book will be available for purchase from my website, this summer.”
