Cheryl Tiano (Music BFA 84), a longtime agent who represented film, television, and game composers at the Gorfaine-Schwartz Agency (GSA), passed away in early November. 

Among the musicians she represented were Brian Tyler (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Steve Jablonsky (Transformers), George S. Clinton (the Austin Powers films), Sean Callery (24), Gabriel Mann (Modern Family), and Jesper Kyd (Assassin’s Creed video games).

Tiano spent the past 27 years with GSA and developed its video games and interactive division, through which she encouraged game producers to elevate their soundtracks by utilizing orchestras and prominent composers.
