Diana Mikula (Film/Video 81) reports, “Before CalArts I went to The School of the Art Institute of Chicago doing photography and etching. At CalArts I worked very hard in the Film/Video program, but when I began to work in the industry it all made me uncomfortable. Now I live in South London with a studio in Deptford. My current paintings take a woodland experience and turn it into a fantasy. My true nature is reclusive with the desire to create worlds.”
