Karen Laurence (Diamond) (Chouinard 63) writes, “Last spring, we gifted our entire collection of our Great Aunt Nelbert Murphy Chouinard to The Pasadena Museum of History from ‘the Family of Nelbert M. Chouinard.’ Our gift includes five of her own artworks, family photos, clothing, and more. Last spring, her work hung in the Pasadena Museum of History as part of Something Revealed; California Women Artists Emerge, 1860–1960, as well as in the four-volume book Emerging from the Shadows, A Survey of Women Artists Working in California, 1850–1960 (Schiffer Publishing, 2016) by Maurine St. Gaudens and Joseph Morsman.”
